Fifty Nine Metres Squared

If you haven't seen it yet, here is your reprieve! Unconfirmed audience comments included 'Best painting show EVER' 'A hard show to follow' and 'Inspirational'
but don't let the hype put you off, it really is a great show, check it!

James and I noted with some mirth recently that some purveyors of ‘street art’ on this very stretch of K Road have not thrown up on their own gallery walls art which is usually found out-of doors (on other’s walls) instead it has been put to canvas. Well, this show isn't street art, but it is back against the wall.

In this, our 33rd show ever, we have invited five of the finest wall workers and painters of large scale to install over a four day period on all of Canary’s surfaces, all 59m2 of them.

The gallery looks beaut, like a decorated wedding cake but with really fine paintings instead of those marzipan rosettes… actually forget about the cake analogy, what I mean is it’s fantastic show, which you ought come see as it’ll be gone in the blink of an eye. Up for two weeks then whited out.
