Presenting jet-setting ex-pat:
Kristin Perrett

'All Other Rock Stars are Only His Apprentice'

Exhibition 8 - 18 December 2004

Kristin's Canary show will examine someone who is arguably the prototype for untouchable rock icons:
Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones.

Jagger will be immortalised in a life sized stuffed homage, preserved forever as a symbol of sex, rock, roll and rebelliousness.
Bianca Jagger, Marianne Faithful and Jerry Hall will all feature in homespun portraits, glaring down from the wall on the mummified Mick.

"They are hand-made through meticulous and skilled needlework, constructed out of materials that are cheap and accessible to everyone, in complete contrast to the people they depict. These pieces are a homespun tribute to untouchable icons."
- Louise Popplewell
