His backyard rocket launches have caused quite a stir, in and out of his own neighbourhood.

One failed attempt was a finalist in last year's Waikato Art awards, while other projectiles have been shown at our sister spaces, Enjoy Gallery and the late Rm 401.

This show charts his recent flights, plots a 'wagon wheel' of the flights in an aereal photograph, and demonstrates his gun-powdered blast-offs on video, complete with backyard symphony of birds chirping and neighbours building.

Some of the more succesful rockets are displayed, trophy style, on the gallery wall. The gallery practically reeked of gun powder !!
